The Board of Advisors includes experienced corporate executives and high-ranking government officials who provide support for InferX clients. The Board of Advisors will also help InferX grow additional markets.

Dr. Farzad Najam

Farzad Najam, MD, FACS, is currently the Associate Director of Cardiac Surgery at the George Washington University (GWU) Hospital in Washington, DC, USA. Dr. Najam also holds an appointment as the Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the GWU Medical Center, Washington, DC. Dr. Najam is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) and International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS). He received the GWU Hospital Baldridge Physician of the month award in 2008 and has published numerous articles in peer reviewed medical journals. He is also the co-editor of Robotic Surgery: Theory and Operative Technique, a ground-breaking textbook on robotic surgery, published by McGraw Hill Inc, New York, NY. The book won the first prize at the 2009 British Medical Association Medical Books Awards.

Manish Nandy

Mr. Nandy is a leading specialist in organization strategy and management development, and has an established practice in the Washington metropolitan area. With extensive work experience in Asia, Europe and North America, he has successfully worked with major international organizations, both in the private and public sectors. He has also served key non-profit and charitable organizations. Before starting his independent practice, Mr. Nandy was Vice President of Scendis Group and Managing Consultant with IBM in its Global Business Services and served key clients in the east coast. Earlier he headed the human resource development division of the European multinational Dunlop, switching later to Xerox’s International Center of Management Development in the US. He was later the lead specialist for Management Development in the World Bank and managed key international projects.

Mr. Nandy also served as a US diplomat in several countries and on key task force assignments in the US Department of State. He has been an advisor and consultant to many leading organizations including US Agency for International Development, Canadian International Development Agency, International Labor Organization, Swiss Development Agency, Asian Development Bank, Commonwealth Fund, and Federal and State Agencies and Corporations

Mr. Nandy has been a visiting professor in organizational analysis and human resource development in the Philippines, India, Nepal, UAE, Switzerland and the US. He has served on the board of non-profit organizations and human rights organizations. Mr. Nandy is also the author of two books on management and three literary books and has spoken in various seminars and conferences. Mr. Nandy is multilingual and speaks six Asian languages besides French and Spanish.

Lawrence Hoffman

Mr. Hoffman is a Senior Partner at Raffa P.C., a regional accounting firm based in Washington, D.C., and brings strong qualifications in the financial sector, with particular strengths in the area of forensic accounting and fraud/risk assessment. Building on InferX’s prior work with a “Big Four” accounting firm identifying suspect transactions, we are working with Mr. Hoffman to explore creating an analysis practice area to support new CA/CM capabilities (‘Continuous Auditing/Continuous Monitoring’) which we believe is a high priority among major corporations.

Oliver Alabaster, M.D.

Dr. Alabaster. is an Oncologist and was a Professor at the GWU Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where he was Director of Cancer Research for twenty years and also the Director of the Institute for Disease Prevention. Dr. Alabaster helped to found the Prevent Cancer Foundation in 1986 and was formerly Vice-Chairman of the Board. He has agreed to assist InferX in developing a predictive analytics solution to identify patients with a high risk of cancer. The proposed solution would be similar to the analytics framework used by InferX to successfully develop the Acute Kidney Injury (“AKI”) proof of concept in cooperation with leading researchers in Nephrology at the GWU Medical Center.

Bob King

Mr. King is former CTO of Vulcan Inc. and a skilled senior executive in assisting creating new revenue producing lines of business as well as delivering products. Mr. King brings significant experience in Cybersecurity, Big Data Analytics, SaaS including end-to-end systems integration which is a key element within InferX’s upcoming rollout of it’s predictive analytics cloud-based solutions suite.

Mr. King also brings extensive experience in the application of social media and Open Source in the Intelligence community. Mr. King will assist the Company in developing several targeted predictive analytics solutions for its planned new Global Analytics Cloud family of internet-based services..

Michael Deale

Mr. Deale serves as President and CEO of Crossfield Data Services and manages the firm’s e-Discovery Data Analytics practice. He has served as principal consultant on a number of e-Discovery projects for complex litigation which typically includes the extraction, review and production and analysis of millions of records from complex enterprise database applications; analysis of software/website/database based intellectual property; analysis of software/website/database in contract disputes; and the retention, reduction, review, processing, and productions of large electronic document collections.

Mr. Deale has held senior technology executive positions in a number of high growth, software and technology firms and served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the NextGen Venture Capital Fund. While Vice President for Customer Advocacy at Arbor Software (now Hyperion Solutions), he directed technical support, education programs, and consulting services for this public maker of On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) software. Mr. Deale was the first employee and Director of Technology for Red Pepper Software which was acquired by PeopleSoft. Mr. Deale holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and George Mason University, respectively.
